Step 1: This is the first step in registering for GATE 2026. Using the registration link, candidates can sign up via the GATE online application processing system (GOAPS). The GATE exam registration details are as follows:

• The candidate’s first, middle, and last name
• A working email address
• The candidate’s country of residence
• Cell phone number
• Password for further access

Click the ‘confirm’ option once all of the previously specified information has been entered. The registered email address and mobile number will receive a one time password (OTP) created by the system. To finish the GATE 2026 registration, use the OTP.
