From the list below, a candidate may select THREE cities. The GATE 2026 zone must be the source of all three options. GATE 2026 retains the authority to add a new city, remove a current one, and assign a city that might not be among the candidate’s selections.
GATE 2026 will exclusively take place in Indian centres. Centres outside of India will not host it. By paying the entire application price (₹2000 per test paper), foreign nationals and Indian residents living overseas can take the GATE 2026 exam, but they have to select Indian cities for the test. How Can I Choose GATE Exam Locations for 2026?
Candidates must select one of the GATE Exam Centres from the list provided when completing the GATE Application Form 2026. When submitting their applications, candidates have the option to select up to three exam sites.
- The first and second exam givers have to live in the same GATE zone.
- The third GATE Exam Centre option can be chosen from any zone.
