There are two papers in JEE (Main). For admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E. or B.Tech) at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIS), as well as institutions and universities supported or acknowledged by participating State Governments, Paper 1 is administered. Additionally, it serves as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is administered to gain admission to IITs. For admission to the nation’s B. Arch and B. Thirteen languages—English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu—will be used for JEE (Main) 2026.

  • A candidate may only submit one application. Candidates will never be permitted to fill out more than one application. Candidates who have filled out several application forms will face severe consequences, even in the future.
  • Candidates must adhere closely to the guidelines provided on the NTA website and in the Information Bulletin. Candidates will be summarily disqualified if they do not follow the guidelines.
  • Since NTA will send all information and communications via email at the registered email address or SMS at the registered mobile number, candidates must make sure that the email address and mobile number entered in the online application form for registration are their own or those of their parents or guardians.
